For all elderly people who feel abandoned, lonely or forgotten, may they find comfort in Mary, and know that her Assumption is a pledge of our own resurrection. For all those who are campaigning to oppose assisted suicide, may Our Lady Queen of Heaven intercede for them, and may they inspire others to know that life is a gift from God that must be protected and cherished until natural death.
