Joyful Mysteries (1st to 9th May)
Pray for unborn children and an end to abortion
For parents facing an unplanned pregnancy, may Mary intercede for them, and let her courageous yes guide them to embrace God’s blessing of new life.
May families and friends of expectant mothers, like St Elizabeth, rejoice in God’s gift of new life and support them with love and joy on this precious journey.
May all expectant mothers be strengthened by the Christ-child, and like Mary, trust in the Lord and be filled with his peace, comfort and love.
May St Joseph support all fathers, so that by his example of protecting the baby Jesus, they are guided to faithfully protect the precious gift of life that God has entrusted to them.
May all children who have died from abortion, and children who are lost, deemed unwanted or abandoned, be embraced by the Sacred Heart of Jesus and know his protection, love and peace.

Sorrowful Mysteries (10th to 16th May)
Pray for peace and for the victims of war
For all living in the fear and shadow of war, may they be comforted by the Lord Jesus, who in his own agony placed all things trustingly into the Father’s hands.
May all innocent victims of war and violence, especially children, be held by Jesus – the innocent one who suffered for our sake – and may their suffering be brought to an end.
For all persecuted Christians, who face ridicule, humiliation, violence and death, may the Lord Jesus strengthen them with the hope of sharing in his resurrection.
For all who are working for peace in the face of war, may they be sustained by Christ who carried his cross, knowing that God's peace will be victorious.
For all who have lost their lives to war and persecution, may they rest in the Risen Lord Jesus, and may those who grieve them be filled with the hope of the resurrection and the defeat of death.

Luminous Mysteries (17th to 23rd May)
Pray for people with disabilities
For all people living with a disability, may they know they are beloved children of God, chosen and called by name.
For all who care for people with disabilities – families, carers and medical professionals – may the Blessed Virgin Mary intercede for them and fill them with compassion, patience and love.
For all disabled people who feel marginalised or forgotten, may they know that the Lord Jesus calls each of them to his Kingdom and calls them his beloved.
For all people with disabilities, may they know that the love of the Lord Jesus radiates from them and through their lives, and that his love graces all they encounter.
May all disabled people know that the Lord Jesus, who gives himself to us in the Eucharist, calls his Body – the Church – to embrace and love them.

Glorious Mysteries (24th to 30th May)
Pray for the elderly and the vulnerable
For all elderly people facing the end of their lives, may they be strengthened by the risen Lord Jesus, and take comfort that death is not the end but the start of a glorious and eternal life. For all who feel their life has lost its purpose or meaning, may they trust in the Lord Jesus who ascended in glory, knowing that their life is cherished and meaningful to God. For all medical professionals, carers and family members who accompany the elderly and the dying, may the Holy Spirit fill them with wisdom, patience, compassion and the courage to uphold the dignity of every human life. For all elderly people who feel abandoned, lonely or forgotten, may they find comfort in Mary, and know that her Assumption is a pledge of our own resurrection. For all those who are campaigning to oppose assisted suicide, may Our Lady Queen of Heaven intercede for them, and may they inspire others to know that life is a gift from God that must be protected and cherished until natural death.
